2022 CUSTOMS CHARGES
Changes to customs declarations following Brexit will impact all businesses transporting materials between the UK and the EU in 2022. With the support of our expert customs team, you can ensure that your business is prepared for the changes, offering you peace of mind when it comes to trading in the new year.
New customs clearance rules introduced from 1st January 2022 will require full customs controls reports for all goods that are exported or imported between the UK and the EU. Further changes are also due to be introduced from 1st July 2022 that will further affect those who trade with the EU.
We can take on the role of Importer of Record, making us responsible for your whole logistics operation, including ensuring that all customs declarations are complete and that information surrounding your goods haulage is available to the Import Broker when required.
Additional Permits
We can support your business by identifying what additional permits you need for shipping your goods between the UK and the EU.

When shipping goods under CITIES or POAO, you will be required to provide additional notifications, including the relevant certification and documentation.

Customs Declarations
Access to ports of exit will only be permitted if the relevant import customs declaration is in place at the port of Entry, with all customs duties and taxes settled, before transport arrives for departure from the country of Origin.
Our customs team will offer full customs support, ensuring that all declarations, commercial invoices for freight and shipping documents are completed on the behalf of our clients, and ready before shipping goods.
Customs declarations from 1st January
